REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) #4818

BURLINGTON HOUSING AUTHORITY
BURLINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA

BHA is converting its public housing units to Project Based Rental Assistance under HUD's Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD); and is now soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed and insured entities to provide the rehab services.

The purpose of this RFQ is to select a General Contractor with whom BHA will negotiate pricing for rehabilitation work related to the BHA's RAD Conversion. Contractors will be selected based on total combined scores for a short list and will then be invited for an interview with the Housing Authority. Pricing is not required with the initial submittal.

Electronic proposals only will be received by the BURLINGTON HOUSING AUTHORITY until 2:00, Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved.

Contractors will be responsible to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.

Questions related to the project shall be directed to Stogner Architecture, PA.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
